Electronic Network Systems, Inc., since its inception in 1989, has transformed itself from
a traditional EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) clearinghouse to a payer transaction services
organization that effectively manages the present needs of the healthcare information
systems industry while simultaneously delivering a clear connectivity strategy for the future.
"Many companies within this industry have not been able to make the transition," states
Ana English, President and Chief Operating Officer of ENS. "ENS' Health-e Network® suite
of services and business approach have had a significant positive impact on payer and provider
businesses and costs. ENS' differentiating services meet our customers needs and goals," says
Ms. English.ENS' mission is to eliminate paper and administrative hassles within the
healthcare industry. This is being driven through a full-cycle payer driven model of
implementing and increasing payers' provider e-commerce connectivity for HIPAA-mandated
transactions, processing and "cleaning" claims for auto-adjudication by the payers, and
helping to facilitate the payers' regulatory electronic transaction needs. Due to ENS'
proven strengths of current services, a stable operating and financial environment, and new
exciting services, ENS is implementing a full marketing campaign to make ENS'
high level of service available to more providers and payers within the healthcare industry.
Through the Health-e Network® suite of services, ENS offers to payers what they need most:
1) HIPAA transaction standards compliance;
2) Pre-Adjudication Software System™ (PASS™);
3) provider targeting and tracking system (Xpedite™);
4) provider connectivity marketing and provider solutions;
5) EDI/e-commerce healthcare transaction exchange; and
6) Automated Document Services™ (ADS™).
ENS also offers co-brandable solutions and private label web applications that can reside
on the payer's website and enable the payers to conduct e-commerce with their providers.
Although ENS faces competition from other industry players,
none provides our full-cycle proven solution that addresses all provider claim activity.
In addition, ENS enables HIPAA required transactions and connects providers electronically to
do business with health plans. In today's healthcare environment, very few competitors are
focused on an all-payer electronic solution for providers.
