NORIDIAN CLAIM PROCESS for AZMCR, HIMCR and NVMCR process delay
Announcement:  The following is a notification from Noridian:
Arizona (AZ), Hawaii (HI), and Nevada (NV) Split Transition – Effective May 1, 2008.

For All Medicare Part B Providers (in the states of AZ, HI, and NV)
EDI Support Services (EDISS), in conjunction with Electronic Data Services Enterprise Data Center (EDS EDC), and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), is in the process of splitting
the AZ Medicare Part B workload from the NV/HI workload currently in the EDS EDC. The Part B split requires the AZ, NV, and HI workload to have a cut-off point where all claims flow stops and the system prepares for data migration. All AZ, NV and HI EMC claims will be held from April 23, 2008 until May 4, 2008. EDISS will begin processing the claims by date of receipt May 5, 2008 through May 13, 2008. No Trading Partner action is necessary during this process as it is the goal to make the transition as seamless as possible with minimal impact to providers and beneficiaries.
