ENS, Ingenix is prepared to send claims with NPI only, however, due to the different
requirements of each payer, ENS, Ingenix will NOT be suppressing the legacy numbers.
If you wish to send NPI ONLY, you will need to remove your legacy numbers from your claim files.
NPI - THE TIME IS NOW
Medicare claims must now contain your NPI numbers. All other payers will require NPI numbers on or before May 23, 2008.

Test a small amount of your claims by sending NPI ONLY to make sure your claims
won't be rejected when legacy numbers are no longer required.
